Tea, Coffee & Tequila are back with a brand new exhibition at the Oxmarket Contemporary but first, they need you. ‘’We love art & we love artists - show us what you’re working on!’’
We are running an Open Call to capture a snapshot of what’s happening in the UK artworld Here + Now.
Artists from all levels, backgrounds and working across any medium are encouraged to enter the Open Call. We’re going to fill the gallery to the brim with incredible art and showcase as many artists as we can in this fantastic space. With the exhibition running throughout December, it will be the perfect chance for art lovers to find that special gift for a loved one, or simply treat themselves!
Open Call dates – 5th September – 2nd November 2024
Exhibition Dates – 10th December – 23rd December 2024
The competition is open to any art practitioner aged 18 or over living in the UK. All mediums, styles and subject matter are encouraged, the only criteria we have are the size of the works.
Sizing:
2D works (paintings/prints/drawings etc) – must be no larger than 45cm x 65cm and prepared (framed or unframed) to hang to gallery standard.
3D works (Sculpture, ceramics, applied arts etc) – must safely fit on a 40cm x 40cm plinth
Entry to the Open Call is subject to a non-refundable entry fee.
One submission = one artwork. There is no limit on submissions, however you must pay the submission fee for each artwork submitted. A submission is not a guarantee of entry to exhibition.
Email 1 image of your work to info@teacoffeetequila.com to arrive no later than 4pm on Saturday 2nd November 2024
- Your chosen piece of work must have been created within the last 2 years and be your own work
- The original to be submitted for exhibition in December 2024
- The work must be for sale.
- The image should be in JPEG format, less than 1MB labelled with your name, title of the work, size and price to info@teacoffeetequila.com
- Successful artists will be required to deliver their artwork to the gallery during the drop off week – 3rd - 8th December 2024 between 10am & 4pm.
- Artworks may be delivered in person or via courier however this must be arranged by the artist.

- Entry is not confirmed until the entry fee has been received. You can pay this via the link on our website. Please add your name to the payment reference.

Standard entry fee £15
Early bird entry fee £10 (if entered before 28th September 2024)
A £5 administration fee will be charged to all successful entrants. This must be paid by Friday 22ndNovember to secure their place in the exhibition.
Payments will be taken by our partner Ophelia Art Consultancy (this will appear on your receipt)
All work must be for sale in during the exhibition. 50% commission will be taken on all sales so please factor this in when pricing your work for the show. comments? We'd love to hear from you! Contact us today and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Closing date for submissions: 4pm on Saturday 2ndNovember 2024 (any submissions received after this time will not be counted)

Collection of unsold artwork from gallery: 6th – 10thJanuary 2025, artist to arrange if using courie
If, for any reason, you are not able to deliver your work then, please liaise with the Organiser ahead of time to agree an alternative time.
NB: Artworks must be clearly labelled and ready to hang. Any work not ready to hang will automatically incur a £5 fee on delivery to cover time and costs on the part of the Organiser.
If a successful entrant is unable to participate in the show, a reserve artist will take their place. If you are chosen to participate and cannot, please let us know asap by contacting info@teacoffeetequila.com
Please make sure that the image you provide to the Here + Now Open Call is owned by yourself. Any material submitted by you must not infringe any applicable laws or contain inappropriate content (such as indecent, offensive, defamatory or threatening material).
Entries received after the date and time outlined above will not be considered. Entries submitted without the entry fee will not be put forward. The Organiser reserves the right in their absolute discretion to extend the Closing Date for a reasonable period of time where an insufficient number of the entries received have satisfied the entry and judging criteria, and in these circumstances, the date on which they elect to close the Competition shall be the Closing Date.
Please note confirmation of emailing an entry does not necessarily mean that we have received it due to circumstances out of our control, i.e. IT issues, wrong email address, etc.
We reserve the right to disqualify your entry if:
a. Your entry is incomplete.
b. You do not meet the entry criteria.
c. You are not eligible to enter the Competition.
d. You cannot be contacted
e. You do not pay the entry fee
The finalists’ submissions will be used for marketing and may be exhibited on the website and social media prior to the event with appropriate accreditation wherever possible.
We encourage your own promotion about the event and will repost where we can and we will work hard highlighting each of the finalists on our social media and website.
To help with the promotion, we will provide successful entrants with some keywords and hashtags to include in your own posts when promoting the event
Artists/participants agree to their images being used in selected promotional materials (including website, social networks and other media) unless agreed otherwise. Tea Coffee & Tequila and Oxmarket Contemporary reserve the right to use selected images and copy for promotional activities other than the leaflet and website in order to promote the Event as appropriate to the medium that the promotional activity is due to be published.
Please make sure that any text, graphics, photos or other media that you provide are owned by yourself.
The Organiser reserves the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions. All changes will be posted on social media, and where appropriate, all artists will be notified by email. This version is dated 03/08/2024

We collect personal contact information (including name, address, telephone number and email address), which you provide on a voluntary basis.

We will not share your personal information with third parties for any other purpose without your consent, unless required by law. Any personal information we collect will never be sold to any companies or individuals. .
